Music in Parliament
Context
Recorded during the springboard finale week in Norway, this podcast series perfectly embodies what Europavox Campus is all about: Music, Youth and Europe.
From their boat moored in Stord harbor, the hosts -aka the “Explorers” team- spoked out on topical issues close to their hearts and decided to focus on the link between music and democracy.
Acting as intermediaries to disseminate the voice of young Europeans, these 9 content creators interviewed Europavox Campus participants, gathering their testimonials and opinions in three episodes.
Episode summary
“Vrem femei în parliament” (“we want women in Parliament”, in English) repeats Erika Isac, in her critical track Femei in Parlament. In this third episode, Maria and Lena use the specific example of this Romanian singer to discuss artists political commitment. They share some interview excerpts of their musician friends, giving their personal views and feelings on this subject.
