Yesterday we had a great evening where we attended a concert on our houseboat.
For our first meeting this morning, we visited the Aker Solutions industrial site which is the Stord’s largest employer. It is currently transitioning from oil to renewable energy.
The old construction building, which was located in the North Sea, is being recycled.
« Always home safely » is the company motto. All the workers signed a poster in support of each other.
Then, we take the bus to discover a wind farm, located in the island’s heights, which plays a signicant part in transitioning to renewable energy.
Finally, we ended this afternoon taking a beautiful group photo on the mountain top.
