Conceived as a space of creation and dialogue, Europavox Campus is the surprising connection between academics, culture and civic engagement.
With its partners – Université Clermont Auvergne (Clermont-Ferrand, France), HVL (Bergen, Norway), Universitatea Ovidius (Constanța, Romania), OTH (Regensburg, Germany), and citizens association makesense – Europavox Campus is the first musical springboard for European students, and allows for moments of reflexion and collective construction from October to May.
Four regional springboards, workshops, a European Finale… and an unforgettable experience in Stord
After receiving sign-ups and selecting participating artists and bands, Europavox local finals took place between February and March. The four finalists – Awake the Demons (Romania), Inmanis (Norway), The Djingerbread Experience (Germany) and FoxHole (France) – then went overseas to the beautiful island of Stord, Norway, for a four-day journey from April 15-19th.
Around 70 participants gathered for this week in Stord for discussions, to take part in creative workshops and to share their passion for music. Musicians and the universities’ delegations were joined by a group of young people invited by makesense to take part in the experience. They created content like articles and podcasts to document the diversity and richness of the interactions and cultural exchanges.
This unique moment strongly bonded these young Europeans together and ended in both joy and camaraderie with the European Finale, won by Inmanis.
Thank you to Erasmus+ and Hippocrène for their support in this adventure, as well as venues, associations and every person participating!
