Discover the jury!

As the dates of the regional finals are approaching, we are happy to introduce the members of the jury! In each university, 4 to 5 bands or artists will perform during the regional final, and the jury will select one winner, who will go to the European final on April 18th… Stay tuned!

Bergen / Stord (Norway)

Ole Gunnar Eikeland

Ole is an Associate Professor in Music at the Western Norway University of Applied Sciences in Bergen, and freelance musician (bass player) and music producer/composer.

Marcus Conesa

Marcus is a music student in the last year of his bachelor’s degree at the Western Norway University of Applied Sciences. He plays classical piano, and has worked with Europavox Campus on the previous edition.

Susanne Hemnes

Susanne is the front vocalist of last year winners, Astroturf. She is currently studying to become an elementary school teacher in music and other subjects. Besides singing in Astroturf, she has a totally different solo-project called Miss Wednesday where she plays acoustic guitar and sings cute songs.

Andreas Fredriksen

Andreas started playing guitar and bass about three years ago. She is currently doing a one year course in music at HVL. Here are some bands/ artists she really likes: Queens of the Stone Age, Songs: Ohia, Interpol, and Joan as Police Woman. She also plays bass in The Antenna, a local band from Stord.

Simen Korneliussen

Simen is the director of the organisation Vill Vill Vest. Vill Vill Vest, a key Norwegian music festival and conference in Bergen, boosts new music and cultural networking. In 8 years, it has been offering artists early industry exposure and professional growth, promoting cross-genre collaboration and dialogue on the industry’s future.

Regensburg (Germany)

Matthias Segerer

As head of W1, Regensburg’s center for youth culture and arts, Matthias has been curating the sector of music for 15 years now by organizing concerts, counselling upcoming artists and helping them with recording and production. Music is one of his biggest passions and he is looking forward to this year’s contestants and to being in the judging team for the second time!

Tillmann Schön

Tillmann was born in Regensburg and is currently in his third semester studying “Social Work” at OTH. Playing music has been a passion of his since childhood, and it continues to play a significant role in his life today.

Alina Ligeti

Alina has recently completed her master’s thesis on the idea of expressivity in the context of social (cultural) work. As a social worker, she has led several music and dance groups as well as workshops. Music is very important to her: she plays the drums and the guitar, and has also been dancing hip hop for a few years.

Anne Süttner

Anne is 31 years old and currently studying Social Work at OTH Regensburg. She learned classical guitar at the Musikschule Regensburg and played some performances herself. She is very interested in music, art, and cultural education for young people.

Constanta (Romania)

Oțeleanu Ioana-Cătălina

Cătălina Ioana aka Kate Linn has been riding the sweet waves of success in South Eastern Europe and the Middle East since she was 16 years old. Her sound has brought her two Golden Palm awards in Turkey: Most Popular Song for ‘Zaynah’ in 2017 and ‘Best Foreign Artist’ in 2018.

Alexandru Neș

Alexandru is a composer and music producer at “Nes Music Production”. Member of the Union of Composers and Musicologists from Romania (U.C.M.R.), he teaches music at the Faculty of Arts of the Ovidius University of Constanța. He is also the co-founder and vocalist of the band “Polifonic Band” .

Clermont-Ferrand (France)

Chloé Le Pogam

After obtaining a Master’s degree in Cultural and Audiovisual Management at the University of Clermont Auvergne, Chloé is currently in charge of cultural action within the cultural department of the Crous Clermont Auvergne. In particular, she is involved in organising the Crous Pulsations student music competition.

Frédéric Roz

After fifteen years working as a professional musician, Frédéric was one of the first to obtain, in the 2000s, a state diploma as a teacher specializing in amplified contemporary music. He has pioneered a number of teaching and support schemes within various associations and local authorities.

François Audigier

François is passionate about music, and likes to search perpetually for the most beautiful song in the world. He is a concert organizer, a curator, loves to help artists and encourage them to go as far as possible in their different projects.

Salomé Besse

After 3 years of experience as a program manager at the Centre francophone Hamilton (Ontario, Canada), a French-speaking cultural center in an English-speaking environment, Salomé obtained a Master’s degree in Management of cultural organizations at the University of Paris Dauphine. She joined the Europavox team 5 years ago as a project manager and coordinates the European projects in this capacity.

Côme Ordas

Côme is a young emerging figure in film music, a field in which he stands out thanks to his multiple works as a musician, producer and composer. His versatile music is intertwined with digital, pop, classical and experimental inspirations. His career has included several solo albums, film and television soundtracks and collaborations with various contemporary artists.

Alexane Gitenait

Alexane is the student Vice-President of CROUS Clermont Auvergne and a speech therapy student.

Laura Tisset

After 3 years of volunteering at Radio Campus as a columnist and music programmer, she had the opportunity to become a staff member in 2020. Radio Campus highlights the local music scene in its music programming but also through the weekly music show Live in Room (interviews and showcases of local artists/groups).
