Europavox, the University of Clermont-Auvergne (Clermont-Ferrand, France) and their partners have joined forces to create the first European music springboard for students. Its name is Europavox Campus and student bands from four universities all across Europe can already apply. Get ready for young and fresh new music from Norway, Germany, Romania and France, with a big European final at the end of the road !
Whereas it’s during their Erasmus semester abroad or in between classes in their hometown university, the precious time of students’ years is often when bands are formed, creativity is grown, and musical tastes are refined. This artistry is now being celebrated by Europavox, the University of Clermont-Auvergne (Clermont-Ferrand, France), and three universities all across Europe (Western Norway University of Applied Sciences (Bergen, Norway), Universitatea Ovidius din Constanta (Constanța, Romania) and Ostbayerische Technische Hochschule (Regensburg, Germany)), as they are hosting Europavox Campus, the first European music springboard for students.
From October 2022, students attending one of those four universities will be able to apply to Europavox Campus. A jury made of university members, professionals and artists will select four bands or solo artists who will perform on their campus or a venue of their city during a show in February 2023, supported by their fellow students and friends. Another jury will then decide which musical project will participate in the European Grand Final, which will be hosted for that first edition at the concert venue La Coopérative de Mai in Clermont-Ferrand, France, on the 26th of April 2023. A beautiful night of live-shows, and a way to meet an international audience, professionals, and all the staff who have participated in the project. But it’s also a perfect occasion for those young artists to meet students from other countries who share the same passion : music that can cross borders and reach people’s hearts way past their school walls… With honors of course !
