Ostbayerische Technische Hochschule Regensburg
OTH Regensburg (full title: Ostbayerische Technische Hochschule Regensburg, until recently the Hochschule Regensburg) was founded in 1971 as a college of engineering, business studies and social services. Today it is one of the largest universities of applied sciences in Bavaria. Ostbayerische Technische Hochschule Regensburg (OTH Regensburg) offers its students an excellent basis for a successful career. The technical university of applied sciences has around 11,000 students. 50 practice-oriented bachelor and master degree programmes in engineering, business studies, design, architecture, health and social studies offer high quality teaching and research. Modern facilities, such as 120 state-of- the-art laboratories and an award-winning library located on an attractive campus provide the basis for successful studies.
OTH Regensburg has about 200 partnerships with universities all over the world, including partner universities in Australia. The international office offers advice to international students and information on all aspects of studying and living in Regensburg. A buddy programme, mentoring, orientation weeks and a broad choice of language courses are only some examples of how OTH Regensburg makes international students feel at home on campus and in the city.
