Europavox Campus : the musical springboard for European students is back for a second edition!

Europavox Campus is the first European musical springboard for students, a project developed by Europavox and Université Clermont Auvergne. Europavox Campus was devised as an arena for creation and dialogue, in addition to being a means of fostering unique synergies between universities, cultural stakeholders and citizens.

The idea behind Europavox Campus is fairly simple: from October onwards, students-musicians can register at HVL (Bergen/Stord, Norway), Universitatea Ovidius (Constanta, Romania), UCA (Clermont-Ferrand, France) and OTH (Regensburg, Germany) campuses. In each area, a jury consisting of lecturers, institutional representatives and professionals working in the music industry will select the artists who qualify to participate in the regional springboard events, which will take place between February and March 2024. The four winning artists from the regional springboards are then selected to represent their university at the European grand final!

But more than just a springboard, Europavox Campus is a real hotbed of thinking and collective project-building. It takes place, from October to May, between university staff, students (not just the artists but also all of the people who help to produce concerts, welcome guests and promote the events), associations, partners and organisations that host the project. A chance to provide students and young people with an arena for creation and exchanges, especially during the European grand final gathering delegations from all four partner universities.

After a successful first edition in Clermont-Ferrand last year, this grand final will take place in Stord, Norway, from the 15^th to the 19^th of April, a string of events hosted by HVL University. The artists, students, and teaching staff along with the partner organisations, professionals working in the music industry and members of citizens’ associations will come together for meetups, sightseeing visits and creative workshops, and of course concerts, on the big night of the 18^th ! So, who will succeed last year winners, Astroturf and elen in wavs ?
